“I wish to make a statement in the purest and simplest form – one that evokes an intense response in others. I choose to work with abstract shapes to remove the limitations of age, gender, ethnic origin or historic period, trying to reach the viewer on two levels: initially with the sheer beauty of line and form, and secondly with an emotional identification on a personal level. When people respond, “Oh Wow!” then I know that I have succeeded.”
